Ask what the number represents
A quote may be presented per graft, per session, as a package, or as an individual treatment plan. Before comparing figures, identify who is included, which stages are covered, and whether the estimate can change after examination.
Travel, accommodation, medication, tests, local transport, follow-up, and possible additional sessions may or may not be included.
Price cannot establish suitability
A low or high quote does not prove that surgery is appropriate. Previous procedures, scarring, donor depletion, hair type, treatment area, medical context, and realistic goals can all change the plan or lead to a recommendation not to proceed.
Compare responsibility and continuity
Ask who evaluates the case, who approves and performs each stage, and who supports follow-up. A transparent quote should be considered together with the clinical model—not separated from it.
